We
bought Clover for my Mum as a surprise 70th Birthday
present. And as her constant companion during her last
years, Clover rarely left Mum's side.
But
without Mum she was lost for quite a while - not really sure
just what her job was supposed to be now that Mum was
gone.
Then
finally she decided that she would look after Stella - and they
became the best of buddies.
At
10 years of age, her eyes are failing and she is a bit grey
around the muzzle - but to us she will always be that cute
little floppy-eared dog we call "Shortie".
You
know the one . . . the one that up-staged the
cattle dogs by gaining her Tracking Champion title without so
much as a blink of her eye!
