Living in a rural environment is certainly beneficial to the health and well being of my dogs.  But not having access to the show ring on a weekly basis (as city folk do) it certainly lengthens the time taken to obtain those all important points towards a championship title. Especially as it is not unusual for our local events to have only 1 or 2 cattle dog exhibits at a show. So over time I have come to place more importance on what my dogs achieve at Group level.  And when I decided to add this News page to my website I only listed Challenges and BOBs where my exhibit was not the only exhibit of breed.
